SELECTING A PATTERN
After testing with pentagons and hexagons during the prototyping it was found out that the triangle pattern is the most flexible and strongest structure for the intended medical cast.
The triangular pattern was decided on the basis of strength, tolerance and ability to provide flexibility without damaging the form.
