How might we make Ride-share entertaining and safer to use for children of busy parents?
My brief excerpt about the FORD autonomous experience concept
The environment and new mobility models including self driving mobility services are changing the travel experience. The first concern beyond self in such a cases of transportation modernization is the children. Creating safety involves many things.It is important to create the conditions by which women and those under their care are able to move about safely and without fear of any kind.
Research has shown that many factors play a role in determining women’s access to mobility including urban design and planning, community involvement, improved policing, usage of space, safe school bus rides for their children or themselves while using public transportation. The personal vehicles interactions also matter (or the lack of interaction in certain transportation modes). The concern for bus rides of the future was something we could further ideate and add value to.
The divergent and convergent thought process around this concept narrowed our concept to gamification of the autonomous bus rides, from school bus rides for children to other modes of robo bus ride experience. We created a fun interactive experiences of children where they can be engaged and safe.
